Eight generation wig maker, Ruth Regina has etched her place in history receiving the television and film industry’s first east coast on screen credit for make-up. In the 60’s she served as Make-up Director for the Jackie Gleason Show. She has been the personal beauty consultant to Judy Garland and Elizabeth Taylor designed hair pieces for Lucille Ball. She has prepared several US Presidents for addresses to the world, fourteen years as Make-up Director for the Miss Universe Pageant , Make-up artist to Jack Parr on NBC's Tonight Show and even The Beetles for their historic Ed Sullivan Show appearance

Ruth’s has made many network guest appearances, most notably on CBS Late Night with David Letterman and NBC's TODAY Show. Ruth also uses years of experience to give back. She has the understanding and sensitivity required in making hair pieces for patients undergoing chemo- therapy.

Ruth, has continued to maintain her boutique on Bay Harbor where she is still in high demand as the preferred wig maker to today's stars.
