Ongoing projects (possibly useful tools/applications)
[edit]- A library of chained JavaScript functions accessible from one page, which constitutes my personal Ultimate Dream Calculator, covering several subfields of pure and applied mathematics. Currently includes functional support for:
- fractions
- complex numbers
- polynomials
- arbitrary-precision arithmetic
- iterated functions
- functions of sets
- list, array, and matrix operations
- group functions and operations
- physical constants and physical quantity operations.
- A black hole parameters calculator, inspired by Xaonon's Hawking Radiation Calculator.
- A world-map-projection application written in HTML-canvas/JavaScript. Many of Wikipedia's list of map projections are supported and subsequently modifiable by any rotation of the globe. Low-resolution version, horribly slow, and no doubt done much better elsewhere; but cartography has always been a passion of mine.
- JavaClade: a minimal HTML/JavaScript application for displaying the Tree of Life. My thanks to Wikipedia in general for the invaluable information which I have gathered from here, which made this possible.
