A History of Snipa!
[edit]History of the Sport
Snipa! is a non-orgnized sport created by Kyle Kalish and Shaun Hixon. One day when all entertainment had faded Shaun picked up a whiffle ball and bat and began to play. With Kyle's help in the establishment of rules the game of Snipa! came into existence.
Setup
[edit][[Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg<|thumb|right|200px|A ball, as used in the game of Snipa!]] Two players two sides. One light one dark. Snipa! is often played on a simple street. Using a marker to keep track of sides, two players of both sides prepare, a furious gleam in their eyes as they size up the opposing team. Players communicate to observers via hoots and whistles, and the game begins.
Equipment
[edit]The game of Snipa!, being a semi-organized sport, takes a holistic approach to equipment and gear. Generally, at a minimum, a whiffle ball and bat are required, but nearly any piece of equipment can be incorporated into the game, such as traps, bludgeoning devices, flails, vehicles, and armour.
Positions
[edit]There are two positions a batter and a kicker.
Object of the Game
[edit]The object of the game is to make the whiffle ball stop on the opponents side. Obviously, with the opponent attempting to stop these efforts, this contest turns quickly into a pitched battle between the competitors. Unsportsmanlike moves such as biting, low blows, and punches to the vital areas are disallowed for the participants' safety.
