I live in Saarbrücken, Germany.

I studied German and Roman languages and literature in Saarbrücken, Paris, Grenoble.

Master (MA) in french literature (about Arthur Rimbaud. cf. Nach Charleville - Zu Rimbaud ISBN 978-3-942701-17-4). PhD with a thesis in computational linguistics

For many years, I was research associate in the SFB 100 at the University of the Saarland, Saarbrücken, working on machine translation systems. Own Company for natural language software. The internet search engine Lexiquo uses the "linguistic engine EXTRAKT", which was developed in my company. www.extraktsearch.de

I am a publisher (AQ-Verlag), author and translator.

In AQ-Verlag I published books on art, literature and science.

They include Christian Boltanski, Martin Disler, Hans-Peter Feldmann, Helmut Federle, de:Jochen Gerz, fr:Paul-Armand Gette, de:Edmund Kuppel, de:Urs Lüthi, Rainer Maria Rilke.

In AQ-Verlag published also works of Einhard (Vita Karoli Magni), the Venerable Bede (De arte metrica & De schematibus et tropis), Johannes Trithemius (De origine gentis Francorum compendium). In the field of scandinavian studies: the Volsunga saga and the Jónsbók, in the original language with an English translation.

As a translator (from French) I translated:
