I am a Rice University student double majoring in Sociology and Policy Studies with a focus in Law and Justice in addition to a minor in Poverty, Justice, and Human Capabilities and a certificate in Civic Leadership.
As a new Wikipedian I hope to contribute more to pages involving different types of inequality in the U.S. and Latin America. I am extremely interested in learning about the effects of historical racial injustice in the U.S. especially within the criminal justice system. I am passionate about social justice and hope to eventually become a Civil or Human Rights Lawyer. I spend my free time listening to and playing music, writing and playing sand volleyball with friends.

As a part of my Poverty, Justice, and Human Capabilities course I developed the Honduras Wikipedia page. I added content on different forms of inequality such as income inequality, gender inequality, and racial inequality in the country.
These are the references I used to develop the Honduras page:

Student assignments should always be carried out using a course page set up by the instructor. It is usually best to develop assignments in your sandbox. After evaluation, the additions may go on to become a Wikipedia article or be published in an existing article. |
As a part of my Human Development in Global and Local Communities course, I will continue to edit pages that deal with inequality. I hope to focus on something related to inequalities within the U.S. criminal justice system.
