Good day everybody!
I am very new to Wikipedia but I hope to get used to and use this website more often. Some intrests that I have are, reading Stephen King novels (The Shining is my favorite) and drawing. I like to do the occasional arts and crafts projects, however, I am not very good at them. I love amusement park rides, the beach, and hanging out with my friends.
Some subjects that I can see myself working on in the future are subects like, Horror novels, Disney, Musicals and maybe a few amusment park subjects. I really hope to help people who are trying to learn more about these topics. Thank you for visiting my page and have a nice day.
Introduction
[edit]When I was little, I started reading the Percy Jackson series. Since then, I have grown an interest in Greek Mythology. I wanted to make sure that the information that I wanted to learn was true and reliable. One aspect of Greek Mythology is the stories of heroes fighting monsters. These heroes, more often than not, are said to be demigods. I wanted to learn more about them and how they are seen in other beliefs. I visited the Demigod page on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: lack of citations in the Hinduism section, irrelevant information from the Bible, and how up-to-date the article is.
Citations
[edit]There is a whole section in the Demigod article title, Hinduism, and it has absolutely no citations. The sections talked about the stories of demigods in Hinduism terms. However, the section goes on to talk about gods, goddesses, kings, queens, and yet there is not a citation insight.
Structure/Completeness
[edit]There is a section where it talks about Jesus. However, there is a debate in the talk tab debating whether or not Jesus is a demigod or not. In the Bible, they never state that Jesus is a demigod. This whole section is just a matter of opinion and is not relevant to the Demigod article.
Age
[edit]One thing that I would like to praise this article is how it is up-to-date. The last time it was edited was earlier this year. There are still edits being made to the article to make it the best it possibly can. I am glad to see that this article is still a work in progress.
Conclusion
[edit]To conclude, this article has a handful of negative edits that have been made to it. However, there are still some good things about it and since it is still a work in progress, there is still room for improvement for this article.
