One of the first artist that pioneered holy trap was an artist named Cight along with a few other artists like greg, lil net zero, and misogi [2]

Multiple collectives and music groups have branched out the original 'Mizustation' group that started the early soundcloud era of music. These groups, inspired by Cight & others went on to form their own sound while still homage to the spirit of holy music.
