Virtual Family Kingdom, also know as VFK for short, is a massively multiplayer online game that has been, and is continuing to be, developed by Narasopa Media (company needs confirmation). The game initially was previewed by the public in it's pre-alpha stage on April 29, 2008 (date needs confirmation).

The Lands

[edit]

In the game, VFK is divided into seven different lands.

Initially the Medieval Age, Western Age, and Victorian Age were the only lands that could be explored.

On July 13, 2008 Australia was released.

On May 31, 2009 Space Age was released with the current map and tab of Space Age released on September 12, 2009.

Colonial Age and Retro Age have yet to be released.

There are also certain areas within these lands that are notable. Among these is the Waterpark which can be accessed by going to the Sydney Opera House in Australia and going down the flight of stairs on the left.

Mini-Games

[edit]

The following minigames are scattered throughout the lands in VFK. Each has it's own challenges and awards credits relative to player performance.

Audobon's Wildlife Adventure

A bird identification game. Players travel through several rooms depicting scenes created by John James Audubon himself. The goal is to try to identify as many birds possible correctly, while avoiding obstacles and keeping the safari vehicle fueled.

Space Pirates

A player versus player or PvP game. Participants divide into two teams or battle 'everyone for themself'. This game is divided into three separate levels in which players guide their ship and shoot cannonballs at other players' ships to rack up points. Each level lasts three minutes regardless of whether or not all players' ships have been 'vaporized'.

Laser Tag

Also known as 'Space Pirates Laser Tag'. This is a PvP game. Players divide into two teams and navigate three different levels.

Fourth of July Fireworks

Put on a fireworks spectacular in the night sky! In this game, players navigate 5 different levels, each containing 3 separate stages. Various shapes representing different fireworks soar into the sky. The goal is to match up each shape and to click the fireworks at just the right moment to set them off.

NPCs (non-player characters)

[edit]

There are 2 non-player characters in VFK. Each character gives a certain amount of credits that can be obtained every 12 hours.

Mister Ned

Mister Ned is a horse at Livery Stable. He loves sugar cubes and oats. Upon being visited, he offers 50 free credits.

Miss. Claira

Miss. Claira is a clerk at the Autumn Imports. Upon being visited she offers 100 credits. You must use "please" and "thank you" to obtain the credits.
