Ismail Ferraj is an Albanian Pop artist. Born on November 3, 2002, Ismail Ferraj began to show his talent from an early age in the city where he was born, Vlora, where he constantly attended professional artistic courses in addition to general education. After completing primary education in his hometown at the 9-year school "Ismail Qemali", he successfully completed secondary education in his hometown at "Naim Frashëri" Artistic High School, to further pursue higher education in law at "Ismail Qemali" State University " in Vlora for only 2 years, where he would interrupt his studies to focus on his early passion, art and painting, as a painting student at the University of Arts in Tirana, the capital of Albania. After many researches in several genres of art, Ismail Ferraj focused on Neo Pop Art, where after many studies and researches and trials he debuted in 2024 with the first Neo Pop painting "Maybe" a remake of the world icon "M-Maybe" Roy Lichtenstein, who appears with a pair of romantically stylized headphones, and with his eyes "disappeared" from the physical. Ismail Ferraj is the first so that at a young age he brings the Neo Pop art movement to serious levels in Albania, becoming the first pioneer of Contemporary Neo Pop art in the Albanian Nation which will officially spread with a solo exhibition in Tirana, next winter, according to sources, while holding his first solo exhibition as a high-level artist. Ismail Ferraj is also a public figure of the new Albanian politics. He is running for the first time in the local elections of May 14, 2023 as a candidate for the Municipal Council, in the Municipality of Vlorë from the ranks of the Democratic Party of Albania, earlier he had shown ambition as a candidate for the Chairman of the FRPD Vlorë Branch, which did not end as planned expected due to the unprecedented situation within the largest opposition force in the country. Ismail Ferraj is currently a member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party of Albania in Vlorë Branch.
