[edit]I'm (2018-Present) a student who lives in Washington state. I am an athlete as well as a car and motorcycle enthusiast. I've played sports my entire life, I've played basketball and football since I was in elementary school. I've also played on a soccer and baseball team for a short while. I began riding motorcycles in 2014, I am more interested in sport and super sport street bike but I also enjoy riding dirt bikes.
I am currently a business student and I enjoy learning about the stock markets, different types of businesses, corporations, partnerships and management styles. All of these are things that I may search for on Wikipedia. I also enjoy learning about U.S. history and civil war history. Math, Science and English are not my strong suits but I'm doing my best to improve my skill and knowledge in all of those courses so i will be searching a lot of those subjects too.

Article review:
[edit]Seafair is a great event that I have attended multiple times with my family and friends throughout the years. It is held every summer in Seattle with many fun activities to do like watching the hydroplane races and watching the blue angels fly. I visited the Seafair page on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: its dead links, it being an out of date page and its missing information.
Dead links
[edit]While reading this page, I noticed that there are very few citations on where the information in this page is coming from. After clicking on some of the links, I noticed that about half of the links are dead and the information taken from these links are no longer available making the information in the article questionable. Some new sources are definitely needed before this page can be considered "good."
Out of date
[edit]This article was last updated about five years ago and no new information had been added to the page. I checked the talk page and there was only one entry where an editor had deleted some of the writers information because it appeared to be plagiarized. I am guessing that this was the extent of this articles only update. This article needs some work to say the very least as well as having more people contributing information.
Missing information
[edit]I have personally attended Seafair multiple times including this last summer and I’ve noticed while reading this article that there is a lack of the history of Seafair. After having attended the event myself and having listen to multiple Seafair radio and television broadcasts, I know that attracting tourists to the Seattle area was one of the multiple reasons for the events creation, and this article has no mention of that anywhere.
Summary
[edit]Overall, I would say that this article is incomplete. The page has very few sources that are current and some of the sources are dead links. For this article to be credible, there would need to be some more current information. The lack of entries on the talk page also suggests to me that this article was created by few or maybe even one person resulting in only a little bit of information. I also think this page would be more complete with more history of Seafair, it mentions what year the event started but not the purpose of the event being created.
