[edit]'The Spectrum' is the Xenia Christian High School magazine produced by the Journalism class. The class is taught by Mrs. Autumn Zakes.
The Journalism Class
[edit]The Journalism class at Xenia Christian, consists of 8 upperclassman (2 Juniors and 6 Seniors), and a class adviser.
Students interview for positions at the beginning on the class. Positions include:
- Editor and Chief
- Design Editor
- Copy Editor
- Project Manager
- Community Director
- Global Events Editor
- Sports Editor
- Public Relations Specialist
The Magazine is created using Gimp and InDesignCS4 programs.
History
[edit]The Spectrum was established in 2007, along with the Journalism class at Xenia Christian. The first issue being only 8 pages is still available online for you to view.
Do to some financial burdens, The Spectrum is no longer printing to the general public. I does remain online for free viewing. Just clickon this months issue cover (large in center of the web page) and browse our magazine.
