Shortly before Perry Moore's death in February 2011, he told his family that he had secured funding for a film based on The Magician's Nephew, which recounts the creation of Narnia.[1] On March 22, 2011 it was announced that The Chronicles of Narnia: The Magician's Nephew would be the next film in the series.[2] Filming of The Magician's Nephew will be expected to begin on January 2012 and will be released in April 1st 2013 [3]
