Article Review
[edit]I visited the Three Rivers, California Wikipedia page. After extensively reviewing the page, I found several Aspects of it that I felt worth noting for potential revision and or improvement. First, the pages lack of content related to the general description and summary of the town, secondly the pages lack of mentioning many key geographic features found within the geography section, and third, many significant historical events.
General Description
[edit]From my observations of many other wikipedia pages in reference to towns, the general description of Three Rivers, California is accurate but vague. Brief descriptions of the many local businesses and annual events held there could easily be added with hyperlinks to provide a more helpful and inclusive article for those researching the area. A few examples could be the Earth Jam, Three Rivers Rodeo, Riata Ranch Cowboy Girls, Sierra Subs and Sandwiches and many more.
Geography
[edit]There are a few vague mentioning of the basic topographic and geographic features of the area, though there are many key points and locations that have been left out such as skyline falls, many small ponds and aquatic features, and eagles roost mountain. It is also worth noting that there are no hyperlinks or citations connected to the geography section of this article stating where the information was acquired from.
History
[edit]Though the history section does mention a few important individuals and events, it does leave out many significant and notable others, a few of the major events and people include the presence of the Kaweah Tribe in the area, John Muhr, the creation of Mineral King Road, and Southern California Edison Hydroelectric plant and flumes that provide drinking water and electricity to most of Tulare County.
