Jo Hell Jo Hell started playing in Montreal bars at the age of 16. After two years of playing jam nights seven nights a week, he decided to start his own band. As the years went by, the number of shows increased and demand for the group became more obvious. They appeared at several festivals including the Montreal Jazz Festival and the band's popularity increased.
In 2006, Jo Hell & The Red Roosters played SXSW and were a featured band that same year at the Red, White, and Blues Festival at Waterloo Park. http://www.myfoxaustin.com/dpp/good_day/live_music/Live-Music:-Jo-Hell-20100714-ktbcgd
