I have undergraduate and graduate degrees in English and a minor in Geology. For the moment, I'll mostly be making small grammar and spelling adjustments while I get a feel for the place, learn the ropes, and research any more substantial contributions I contemplate. I used to be fluent in French, but hesitate to classify myself as even level 3 without more regular practice. I've studied both Welsh and Latin, but have never had the opportunity to practice either, and my knowledge is therefore more theoretical than practical.
It's a moniker I chose to poke a little fun at myself. It's from the term Précieuses, and it serves to remind me that I'm a bit pretentious and a bit affected, however literary and lively I may genuinely be.
