Bio

I am a full time student at a high school and college planning to become a registered nurse. I come from a small family and own two dogs who I adore. I enjoy spending time with friends and family but, in my free time I watch movies and listen to music. Although not athletic, I enjoy cheer as I was on my high school's team last season and plan to do cheer again in the future. I have an interest in art especially watercolor, renaissance dark art paintings, and especially fashion.

Although I am not very knowledgeable on any particular subject I would be able to improve on the information of Town Of Salem on Wikipedia's mafia page as I do play Town Of Salem regularly. I would also be interested in adding more to Monsta X's and Sik-K's pages because they are two artists I often listen to. Because of my interest in art, I would also like to add on information about Frida Kahlo because she is one of my favorite painters.

Article Evaluation

This April I attended the Seattle stop of Sik-K's FL1P World Tour and since then I have developed knowledge about him. Because of my interest in the rapper I visited the Sik-K page on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: lack of recent information, missing content, and questionable citations.

Article Age

Although updated last on October 10th, 2019, the article seems to be out of date. Recently released music, such as Sik-K’s new EP, S.O.S (Sink or Swim), is missing from the article. Other information such as his recent first world tour is not mentioned. Overall, the article is a little outdated and is not up to date when it comes to his recent releases or activities.

Missing Content

When viewing the page for Sik-K the majority of information is about his discography. Although music is an important part of a musicians page, I believe there should be information about their lives as well. Sik-K’s page tells us that he was a contestant on Show Me The Money Season 4 but fails to mention any other information available on the world wide web like the fact that he was a guest on Show Me The Money 6 or that he had gone to high school in Canada. The article itself is lacking in general information about him. This vital information can help people learn about him as a person and not just his discography.

Citations

There are not very many citations in the article but the cited sources seem to be reliable. Although in Korean these sources are well known companies in Korea. Naver is a popular news source that also serves as a search engine. Gaon charts, used to source the chart positions of his songs, is a well known music chart that keeps track of album sales, digitals and streams. Even though there are few citations, all of them seem to be from reliable sources that are up to date.

Conclusion

Overall, I believe this article is sub par due to the fact that it is quite small and out of date. The article can use a significant amount of improvement especially when including details about Sik-K himself, there is a notable number of interviews and web pages that the information could possibly be pulled from. The preexisting information in the article is quite lacking, although it does contain a good portion of Sik-K’s discography, it fails to include recent releases. Despite the fact that the article is small, I think the citations are well done as well as credible.
