I'm a director and writer from Val-d'Or, in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. I work as a television and movie producer, and an actor.

Bio

I'm born in LaSalle in 1980 and raised in Saint-Paul-de-Châteauguay, now Sainte-Martine in Montérégie. My parents are from Gaspésie. I have bretons origins. My studies and work brought me to Montréal, Gatineau, Amos and Rouyn-Noranda.

Educations

I began my college studies in computer technology at Collège de Valleyfield to progress into the pre-university Arts and Letters program. I completed a bachelor's degree in cultural animation and research at the Université du Québec à Montréal. I was a demonstrator in the sociology department. I have training as a comic strip author. I also took humor writing workshops from the École nationale de l'humour.

Career

I began my career in the media as a host and producer at CHAI, a community radio station in Châteauguay. I then became a producer at CTGC, now Télévision du Sud-Ouest. I was director of programming at CHOQ.FM (now CHOQ.COM), university's webradio, I worked at the Ecole de Technologie Supérieure as a communications workshop manager. I was responsible for communications at Pointe-du-Buisson, Quebec archeology museum. I was a director, journalist and researcher at ICI in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. I was a coordinator at TVC9. As a freelancer, I contributed to l'Indice bohémien et les Mystérieux Étonnants.

Interest

I am passionate about all television and radio (alternative, community or experimental), visual arts, theater and music. I have an interest in Archaeology, History of the United States, First Nations in Canada and History of Canada.
