Yup, this is the same LovelyLillith you may have read elsewhere online that stirs things up. I'm all for the free dissemination of knowledge in every field... so what better place to be than here?
I've been fiddling around for several years now. It's the fulfillment of a longtime desire, and even though I only have a wee coinpurse full of tunes that I can squeak out presently, I am proud to be able to call myself a fiddler.
I like people - assume friendliness - unless you give me valid reasons to not like you. I don't do Wikiangst. Life is too short to bicker about falderal.
I'm passionate, and I will challenge things I don't think are accurate, and stand up for what I believe in. If I am wrong, I may bluster internally but eventually will (wo)man up and admit it. I'm often wrong, but I try hard not to be. I have been editing for a long time, but I still have a lot to learn.
I believe there are too many editors who wear their insta-deletions like badges of honor, and not enough who welcome newbies. As most bright-eyed, bushy-tailed and enthusiastic newbies don't have a clue what the sandbox is, I believe in giving them quite a bit longer than 10 seconds before deleting their efforts and causing them to feel like there is no point in trying to edit because everything they do is deleted. Patience is a virtue.
