Craig Russell is a British actor best known for his role as bent copper D.I Mark Gascoyne in Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks, in which he appeared in 21 episodes. Craig was born in Lewisham, South London and raised in South Wales. Other television credits include Eastenders, Doctors, Battlefield Britain, Dream team. BBC drama's Score, Fish Out of Water and Belonging and BBC Wales comedy High Hopes. His film credits include One Way, alongside Michael Clarke Duncan, Til Sweiger and Eric Roberts, Arthur's Dyke with Pauline Collins, Dennis Waterman and Warren Clarke and Anazapta with Jason Fleming, Lena Headey and Dominic Cooper. He can also be seen in multi award winning zombie movie Colin by Marc Price. He will also star in Thunderchild, Price's next film. Other films include Splinter, Spotting The Sunshine and White Buffalo.
