Quinton Kirkpatrick Turner
[edit]Early Life
[edit]Quinton Kirkpatrick Turner was born on December 2nd, 1984 in Severna Park Maryland. Quinton grew up in the Annapolis area and he attended high school at the Severn School where he was inducted into the Severn High School Hall of Fame in the spring of 2016. Quinton played ice hockey, lacrosse, and soccer. Son of Ellen and Frederick Turner. Some would consider, Colin Hook, a freshman goalkeeper to be Quinton's father as well. Quinton, who is referred to as Kip eventually went on to play NCAA Division 1 Lacrosse at the University of Virginia.
College Life
[edit]Kip is a 2007 graduate of the University of Virginia and holds a bachelor’s degree in government. Throughout his collegiate career, Kip was a four-year letter-winner for the Cavaliers. Kip was a USILA Third Team All-American and the UVA defensive MVP in 2006, leading his fellow Cavaliers to an ACC Championship and NCAA title. Turner was a First Team All-ACC selection and USILA All-American Honorable Mention in 2007 and was eventually named to the All-ACC Tournament Team two times in his career.
Professional Lacrosse Career
[edit]Turner rose the professional ranks immediately. Quinton led the Chesapeake Bayhawks to two MLL Championships in 2012 and 2013. He had his immaculate strategy of "just standing there." "He's not saying it's easy, and he understands why other people shrink when people wind up, but he just stood tall as much as possible." "He got to get hit, and he hit the ball, the ball never hit him." Turner was picked 2nd overall in the Major League Lacrosse draft by the Boston Cannons. The Cannons' selection made history as there was previously no goalie ever selected so high. Kip was the Cannons’ Defensive MVP in 2008, a three-time MLL Defensive Player of the Week in 2010, and the MLL Goalkeeper of the Year for his outstanding play. Turner was the starting goalie in the MLL All-Star game in 2013. After a nine year career in the MLL, Turner decided hang up the cleats and retired in the spring of 2016.
Coaching Experience
[edit]Kip has coached with Lars Tiffany for 10+ years now. First, starting at Brown University, where he oversaw the goalies and face-off men. In 2017 Kip returned to his beloved Alma-Mater, the University of Virginia, that his understudy Matthew K Nunes refers to as "Living on a Yacht." Kip has ever since been coaching at Virginia, where he coaches early offense, goalkeepers, and face-off men. Kip is known for his phenomenal warmups, exceptional lacrosse knowledge, 1-119 record in game to eleven, friendship, and mentorship.

Racquet Sports/Sports
[edit]Kip is one of those people that is just somehow good at every sport. It is honestly pretty insane how good Quinton is at Pickleball, Golf, Tennis, Squash, Basketball, Lacrosse, Swimming and pretty much any other sport. In practice, Lord Kipington can somehow backhand a tennis ball into the top right corner at 100 mph with a goalie in net, a concept that the goalies are blown away with.
