David is a Climate expert, Environmentalist, SDGs advocate, and Project Manager with over 5 years of experience leading diverse projects and teams. A researcher with advanced education in environmental management and sustainable development, a Sozo Network Fellowship alumnus, and a Chinese Government Scholarship recipient. In 2021 he was selected alongside 32 other young experts from Nigeria to become a fellow of the Nigeria Economic Summit Group-Bridge Fellowship - the think tank research, policy & advocacy group for Nigeria. His community development projects on climate change and environmental sustainability fetched him the NYSC/SDGs meritorious award in 2016 being among the 3 out of the 5778 corps members in that category. In 2020, he was named one of the 100 African youths whose projects mitigated the effects of COVID-19 on the population by the Future Awards Africa. In 2021, the team he led earned first place in the Circular Economy category by popular vote and third place by Judges choices at the International Students Conference, which drew students from over 100 universities across the world. Recently, He was recognized for his contribution to the 2021 EU SWITCH ASIA LEADERSHIP ACADEMY ON TECHNOLOGY FOR CIRCULAR ECONOMY and acknowledged in the training report.
