Note to person who challenged my changes to article on Plame. I understand and agree with some challenges (weasel words). I was not careful enough. But please look at the article's current statement about Plame's former work. She calls herself a "covert operations officer" in her congressional testimony, but JOM commentator cathyf notes that Waxman of the CIA claimed classification under EO 12958, but that was not in effect on the relevant date for the alleged "leak". Her job may not even have been classified, let alone covert. After all, lots of people work at CIA without having classified jobs, let alone covert jobs. What say you?

I say that primary sources trump secondary sources and that reliable sources trump untrusted ones. This is Wikipedia policy. Until such point as Wikipedia policy changes, the observations of random people on the Internet based on the parsing of Wilson's testimony are not sufficient to assert that there is any doubt to the CIA's claims.
The article itself is one of the poorest long articles on Wikipedia. It no doubt contradicts itself countless times. But we don't use the contents of articles themselves as proof of the statements therein. Chris Cunningham 16:24, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
