Jubilee For Tomorrow !

[edit]

Project Jubilee is an experiment in self-determination and cooperation for tomorrow's communities.

Traditionally, the time period between Jubilean events can vary among various cultures, but the most notable Jubilean events are faith-based.

A Jubliean event symbolizes a time for celebration and hope for tomorrow.

Project Jubilee's hypothesis proposes that community debts are cancelled every 50 years.

Additionally, properties with unpaid liens against them revert to the lien holders at the time of the event.

An individual can rarely survive without cooperating with others in a community.

The individual choices made determine the path of the individual and the community going forward into tomorrow.

Basic Principles

[edit]

Project Jubilee challenges the status quo and proposes these basic principles ...

  1. Debt relief is both given and recieved by the entire community.
  2. Freedom and Liberty are guaranteed for the entire community.
  3. Birthright and Inheritance does not benefit the entire community.
  4. Accountability is required for individual decisions and actions.
  5. Community and infrastructure promote individual autonomy, dignity, and security.
  6. Education is guaranteed for the entire community.
  7. Sanctuary is guaranteed for the entire community.
  8. Justice is guaranteed for the entire community.

These basic principles are established at the grassroots level with the consent of the community and their representatives.

Self-determination is challenged when mandates from higher governmental levels are enforced without the consent of the community and their representatives. Separatism does not benefit the entire community, but its acceptance should not be prohibited. Synergy gained from cooperation and individual stewardship promotes community and national affiliation.

Volunteerism is an important community activity for promoting individual autonomy, dignity, and security. Every individual must have an oportunity to contribute to the community, and in turn, they are entitled to share in the fruits of their investments ... Earned Entitlement

Education, on-the-job training, and knowledge sharing promotes discovery and innovation within the community.

Entitlement abuse challenges the status quo and oversight and education is required to resolve accountability.

Protectionism benefits the community at the expense of free trade and helps to level the economic playing field.

Community Trust

[edit]

The Community Trust must be maintained to ensure individual autonomy, dignity, and security.
