My secret page

Did you cheat? Don't do that.-- Vintei  Talk  22:41, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

"cough" i didn't cheat, takes the fun away. SKYNET X7000 (talk) 17:54, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

Dear Skynet, regarding your Help desk reply, and placement of a CSD tag on the Ginger Jolie page, while some articles may indeed, qualify for speedy deletion, you should realize that the subject of an article cannot simply request an article deleted because they do not want the article on Wikipedia. The subject has no say whether articles remain or not, or what content they have in them. If they did, imagine the types of lopsided articles we would have, lol. The requirements for inclusion are covered by the biographies of living person policy, verifiability and notability, etc. The tag has been removed by an administrator, because the page does not fall under the speedy deletion criteria. You might want to review some of the main policies and guidelines before answering at Help desk, or watch others for a while, which is what I did, it really is a great way to learn! Responded at Help Desk. SKYNET X7000 (talk) 09:09, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
Hi SKYNET, I see ArielGold beat me here and said pretty much everything I was going to say, but probably a lot more eloquently than I would have. I just wanted to point out that the specific CSD tag you applied is only meant for editors to request the deletion of articles within their own userspace, such as User:Bongwarrior or User:SKYNET X7000, not mainspace articles. And don't feel bad. It appears you were just trying to do a good deed, but we can't just delete articles because someone asks us to. For that matter, we have no way of knowing if it's even really her. Take care. --Bongwarrior (talk) 09:19, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for the comment, i have however placed a note on the users talk page requesting the user to post any concerns or comments on the talk page of the article and to provide an accurate and reliable source for the information. SKYNET X7000 (talk) 09:23, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Your purpose on Wikipedia

You previously declined to answer a question as to why you have changed your account so many times.

I have another question to pose to you;

In all your various guises, you seem to have made less than a dozen edits to articles in mainspace, but many hundreds to User talk pages, and your own user pages.

Wikipedia is here to create an encyclopedia, not to function as a social networking site.

Is it your intention to edit articles? Welcoming new users and offering them advice is all well and good, but your limited experience in editing mainspace articles means that you aren't in a position to follow up on your welcome with sound advice.

It is my intention to edit articles, I'm current editing Spellforce 2: Dragon storm via my wikipedia Links. And I'll still welcome newcomers to wikipedia without question, and in the future do not bring this question up further, as the previous comment was not for you to read, further comments or responses will be erased in the future, and LEAVE ME ALONE. SKYNET X7000 (talk) 17:53, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
  1. I would remind you that you are expected to be WP:CIVIL to other editors.
  2. Comments left on your talk page are NOT private, and it is open to any editor to comment upon anything there.
  3. Your attitude to people who ask questions that you dislike (and indeed the general tone of the headings on your pages - "Notice to Candidates"??? Did you coy this from an exam paper??) is brusque and unfriendly.
  4. Your statements above purporting to ban me from your user talk page are contrary to accepted standards of good manners on Wikipedia. I have asked exactly two questions of you in your current guise (and communicated a couple of times when you were using User:SKYNET X1000 to try to help you edit properly. This hardly merits you shouting at me to leave you alone.
  5. You state that you are editing and article "via my wikipedia links" (whatever that means), yet in actual fact you edited that article only under two of your previous IDs, and haven't touched it in 10 days.
  6. Your main contributions over recent days would appear to have been in Wikipedia processes that you aren't yet fully au-fait with. It appears that there is a danger of running before you can walk.
  7. It is entirely up to you if you wish to delete messages from me unread. Whether it is a sensible way to proceed is another matter. Most wikipedians learned long ago that sticking their fingers in their ears and shouting "lalalalalalalala can't hear you" didn't actually make them right.
  8. I have asked you a civil question about your editing, rather than issuing a template warning, but you have chosen to react in an uncivil fashion, so back to the templates it is.

December 2007

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!
While we appreciate that you enjoy using Wikipedia, please note that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a social network. Wikipedia is not a place to socialize or do things that are not directly related to improving the encyclopedia. Off-topic material may be deleted at any time. This message is not meant to discourage you from editing Wikipedia but rather to remind you that the ultimate goal of this website is to build an encyclopedia. Thank you. Alright, I'm sorry.
