Jackie Clarke (American comedian and writer)
JACKIE CLARKE is a writer and comedic actor born in Franklin, MA. She now lives in Los Angeles, CA.
Jackie is the voice of Courtney, the precocious daughter on [[1]] [Glenn Martin, DDS]. In addition to commercial work and television guest spots, she also performs at the [Citizen's Brigade] in Los Angeles. Previously Jackie was an on-air personality for the now defunct FM Talk Station 92.3 [FM] in New York City, and was featured in both the Jake and Jackie Show as well as The Jackie Clarke 3 Hour Radio Hour. She also spent a year in Top 40 Radio as part of the syndicated gay and lesbian music show, Radio with a Twist.
Her writing credits include story editor for VH1’s [Free Radio], writer/producer on Logo’s Big Gay Sketch Show and principal writer on various small film and television projects. She has also written and performed in many stage productions including Mail Order Family (formerly Big Vagina Monologues), Full Metal Jackie, and is the co-creator of Showgirls: The Best Movie Ever Made Ever! Print and online credits include articles for “[Out New York,”] [Playgirl], [[2]], and a contributing essayist to the 2009 book Worst Laid Plans.
