About me
[edit]I am a New Zealand-born, U.S.-based, science writer. I have a deep passion for the life sciences, but understand the extreme odds that drug developers face trying to prove efficacy and safety. I try to squash hype and clearly communicate the pros and cons of any field of biomedical science.
My experience as a science communicator includes work for a non-profit research institute, a life science communications agency, and two U.S.-based online news publications (primarily focused on the business-side of biopharma). I am a member of the San Diego Science Writers Association (SANDSWA).
