N'everland is a fantasy/comedy drama web-series developed by Joel Evans and Melissa Bahrum. The show premiered March 17, 2014.

The series takes place at Macquarie University, Australia, a real life university.The series follows the protagonist Red (Jessica Angelopoulos) who signs up for a society called 'N'everland' on her first day at University, she then goes on to meet new fresh faces and begins experiencing some strange events once joining. The story also has a fairytale twist to it, in that the character embody famous childhood characters.

The Pilot (N'everland)|pilot episode attracted over 1,000[1] views in 3 days and continues to grow.

A second season is yet to be confirmed.

  • Jessica Angelopoulos portrays Red, the main protagonist, whom the series follows as she navigates her way through life and strives towards achieving her dreams of being a writer.
  • Victoria Little portrays Sam, a tough and strong friend of Red who unwillingly signs up for N'everland.
  • Zoe Tomaras portrays Gemma, the founder of the N'everland society who is witty and charismatic. She just wishes her members where as passionate about N'everland.
  • Katherine Nheu portrays Cindy, who quickly becomes Red's best friend. She is a shy and faces difficulties with her housemates.
  • Lachlan Mccubbin portrays Crony, A creepy and mysterious guy who seems to be threatening students around campus.
  • Timothy Camden portrays Griffin, who leads the Rebellion society becomes friends with Gemma during the opening sign-ups.
  • Silvia Pinneri portrays Macy, the first bitchy housemate of Cindy, she can be controlling but is often under the thumb of step-sister Casey.
  • Jacinta Antcliff portrays Casey,the second bitchy housemate of Cindy, she is controlling and orders around Macy.
  • Aidan Chalmers plays both Sean, a shy and easily manipulated student and Terry, a flamboyant teen who is best friends with Adam and Damian.
  • Udonnies StVictor plays Adam, who has a bit of a stalker crush on Sam. He is also best friends with Terry and Damian.
  • Charlie Carpenter portrays Damian, the pretty boy that gets to much attention from the girls, but Damian struggles to catch the eyes of the one he loves.

Production

N'everland was a project in the works since 2012, it was only once producer Ofentse Moerane stepped in and got the project off the ground and brought creators Melissa Bahrum and Joel Evans already written script to life.

The show began production in July, 2013 [2] and wrapped production on March, 2014 in time for the premiere on March 17.

Reception

N'everland garnered over 1000 views [3] within its first three days of release.

The pilot achieved relatively positive feedback, with a few minor sound issues.

The show also featured in Grapeshot Magazine [4] stating that the show hit off for Macquarie University as a whole.

It is yet to be confirmed if the show will maintain throughout.
