The Spellbinders A New Jersey based soul group that recorded for Columbia records in the mid 1960s. The group consisted of lead singer Bobby Shivers, Elouise Pennington, James Wright, McArthur Mumford and Dee Grant. Scoring some success with 2 singles "Help Me" and "Chain Reaction". he group was fortunate enough to have the backing of song writing, arranging and producing genius, Van McCoy.
