[edit]Film
[edit]Chica's first appearance in a motion picture was in the 2023 film Five Nights at Freddy's. A real animatronic in the appearance of Chica was built by Jim Henson's Creature Shop for the filming.[2][3] Some actions mainly facial expressions like blinking are controlled by puppeteers via remote control, while more complex movements like walking are performed by actress Jessica Weiss who was inside the costume,[4][5][6][7] she and the actors in the Bonnie and Freddy costumes trained to imitate the movements that a real animatronic would make.[8]
Video games
[edit]- Chica appears in the Funko Fusion game during a level inspired by Five Nights at Freddy's, the level takes the settings of FNaF 1 with the classic animatronics Chica, Bonnie, Freddy and Foxy.[9] Chica is not playable, only Freddy and Foxy can be unlocked and played.[10]
Miscellaneous
[edit]- Chica is featured with Mr. Cupcake on the CD, cassette and vinyl covers of the Five Nights at Freddy's soundtrack.[11]
