To-Do

[edit]
Done (What ST think is Done, still needs refs tho)
Why
  • #All time table, #Goalscoring
    • Those colours because they are the colours of the leagues page 7. As well as bringing colour to the bland black and white page.
      • If doing colours need to get colours for leagues below, as now Melville aren't in the Northern League, they should be a different colour like the Premier League all time table.
  • #Player records
    • We have something special with how the system is set up and we should show it, by displaying the National League stats (Apps, Goals, (maybe-->) Clean Sheets/Pens) into the 4 categories; National, Northern, Central and Southern. It will show all the stats from all season -regional leagues so we get to see more players who have either scored more goals, have lots of appearances or multiple clean sheets.
  • #Points, #Wins, #Defeats, #Draws, #Goals, #Disciplinary
    • Some stats are a bit if we don't split up 4/5 home/away game, as that one extra/non extra game can hold a fair amount of significance to what stat it is. i.e. most home/away points - you can get either (12/15)/(0/0) points and a draw can change you from having a unbeaten record to 9/12 or 13/15 points. IDK what I'm trying to get to, but I recon that the 4/5 game should be included.
      • Some can get be removed like 'Fewest home/away draws in a season' mostly all club will be in that list. Or we could only show multiple winners, instead of:

Could be:

  • #Placements
    • IDK, I think it is interesting to see what place and season the team get and what team places that position the most, BEFORE it was a list of all placements and what team placed there.

The New Zealand National League is a New Zealand amateur league for association football clubs. At the top of the New Zealand football league system, it is the country's primary football competition and is contested by 32 clubs in three regional leagues. The competition was formed in 2021 following the decision of New Zealand Football to change the structure of both the championship and the top regional leagues around the country. The regional leagues allow local clubs to qualify for the National League Championship, with the top 4 teams from the Northern League, the top 3 teams from the Central League, and the top 2 teams from the Southern League making up the competition, alongside the Wellington Phoenix Reserves side.

As of the end of the 2023 season, 13 clubs have competed in the New Zealand National League, with Coastal Spirit, Western Springs and Western Suburbs joining in the 2024 season, making it 16 clubs who have competed. Six of the ten founding clubs will still competing the 2024 season. The inaugural champion in 2022 were Auckland City, with the current champion being Wellington Olympic. The most successful clubs are Auckland City and Wellington Olympic, both winning the league once.

Notes:

  • All of the information listed below is including all National League games starting from 2022 season up to the end of the 2023 season. The 2021 season, South Central Series, is not included due to it not being an official season.
  • In case there are teams with equal quantities, they will be mentioned in chronological order of seasons (the teams that attained the quantity first, are listed first). If the quantity was attained by more than one team in the same season, the teams will be listed alphabetically.
