Thomas Ince (born 30 January 1992 in Stockport, Greater Manchester, England) is an English professional footballer currently playing for Liverpool in the Barclays Premier League.[1][2] He plays as a winger and can also play as a second striker.[3]
His father is former Liverpool captain and England international Paul Ince.[4]
Tom Ince signed his first contract with Liverpool in 2008, joining the Liverpool Academy having successfully worked his way through the Liverpool's schoolboy teams.[5]
Ince made his debut in the 2010–11 UEFA Europa League Third qualifying round tie against FK Rabotnički at the Philip II Arena in Skopje, Macedonia.
His relationship with his Liverpool manager dates back to 1995 when his father played under Roy Hodgson when he was manager at Internazionale.[6]
