Thomas Hoffmann is an Investment Banker at H.C. Wainwright since May 2021. Prior to that he was a financial adviser for Solebury Trout / The Trout Group and Solebury Capital / Trout Capital based in New York, NY. He moved to NYC in June of 2001 and started working at Trout in June of 2001. He completed his studies at the University of Augsburg, Germany. Prior to that he completed his Abitur at Rupprecht Gymanisum in Munich. Thomas Hoffmann, was formerly known as Thomas Fechtner, and legally changed his name in USA on June 26, 2012 to maintain the legacy of his mother, Irene Lorenc, originally born Irene Hoffmann.
Irene was born in the Czech Republic in 1946. She had 3 children, Monika Fechtner, Edith Fassberg, and Thomas Hoffmann. She was forced to escape Czechoslovakia in 1978 and became a Language interpreter in Augsburg Germany.
It was always a wish from Irene that one of her children change her name and though it did not happen during her life, Thomas Fechtner announced on June 27, 2012, that as of that day he has legally changed his name to Thomas Hoffmann. He was married on August 18, 2012, to Grace Hoffman (formerly Grace Woo) in Wading River, NY.
Thomas and Grace had a baby boy, Isaac Jun-Keat Hoffmann, who was born on June 06, 2013 at 12.36 AM.
Thomas and Grace had a second baby boy, Asher Jun-Ming Hoffmann, who was born on April 30, 2015.
