In 2015, after having stumbled on Sir William Rowan Hamilton's unhappy and alcoholic reputation in a seminar about the History of Vector Analysis, I wrote an essay about him: A Victorian marriage : Sir William Rowan Hamilton. In the essay and later (un)publications I showed that Hamilton was not alcoholic, and that he had an overall happy marriage. I made a website about it: https://annevanweerden.nl.
