Lowercase sigmabot III seems down

Hello, Lowercase sigmabot III hasn't edited since Thursday at 12:01 (UTC). I hope it's not a WP:ITSTHURSDAY issue ... in any case I'd appreciate it if you looked into this. Thanks! Graham87 13:17, 9 October 2021 (UTC)

Looks like it broke because of mw:MediaWiki 1.37/Deprecation of legacy API token parameters, which finally got deployed this week. I pinged Sigma off-wiki about it too. Legoktm (talk) 20:19, 9 October 2021 (UTC)
@Legoktm: Did you get a reply? - X201 (talk) 11:53, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
@X201: Yes, a fix is in progress. Legoktm (talk) 19:30, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
It started again this morning. --David Biddulph (talk) 11:06, 14 October 2021 (UTC)

Largoplazo: I'm getting the exact same message from https://sigma.toolforge.org/usersearch.py?name=SebastianHelm&page=Wikipedia%3AReference_desk%2FScience&server=enwiki&max=. But when I reduce the max value to 20, it works. ◅ Sebastian 14:15, 6 November 2021 (UTC)

Okay, I know what happened - I removed the "en" from "enwiki", was meant to add "pt", but fogot. All orted. Rui ''Gabriel'' Correia (talk) 21:55, 4 November 2021 (UTC)

WT:RSN discussion RE: lowercase sigmabot III

Hi there. I just wanted to notify you of a conversation going on right here.

In particular I thought you might like to know that Crossroads had a nice suggestion, that when the bot can't archive a page due to the presence of a blacklisted link, it could be helpful if it indicated in its edit summary what link(s) were causing the problem. Potentially, this could be helpful for WP:RSN, and anywhere else that may discuss links for blacklisting.

The rest of the conversation may otherwise be of interest to you, too. And — thanks for keeping such a nice bot running! --Chillabit (talk) 16:52, 12 November 2021 (UTC)

They are really helpful

Hi I’ve just read this page and it was amazing 👍👍❤️🧡💛💚💙💜😘🤩🤩🤩 86.161.30.77 (talk) 08:26, 17 November 2021 (UTC)

Error in counter incrementer

See this diff.

The archive (edit) was not saved because it contains an external link to a site registered on Wikipedia\'s blacklist or Wikimedia\'s global blacklist. If it had been successfully saved the the edit would have been 105k which is larger than the size of archive which in the parameters is passed in as 75k, so the bot increments the counter.

The fault was not immediately spotted, and by the time it was and the offending link had been removed from the talk page, the counter had incremented to 5. So the first archive was created at a page named "Archive 5". This did not show up in the template {{Archives}} so the archived sections were hard to find ... — PBS (talk) 18:44, 19 November 2021 (UTC)

I noticed that the section linked above #WT:RSN discussion RE: lowercase sigmabot III highlights a related problem on another talk page. -- PBS (talk) 18:51, 19 November 2021 (UTC)
