My Username

My username is the Cyrillic letter "А" but the regular letter "A" was taken by an editor who never edited. I put a request in here to usurp the username of A (talk · contribs), but it was denied. When the policy changes to allow usurping of zero edit usernames, I will be more then happy to switch my username from the Cyrillic letter "А" to the regular letter "A".

I have already had my account blocked and unblocked once, please do not do it again.

I archived my talk page

Orphaned non-free media (Image:KPVIlogo.gif)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:KPVIlogo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:09, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Gonzo

[edit]

Hello. How are you? I noticed you created the page Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson and I was wondering whether you have a copy of the DVD and could confirm whether "Mr. Tambourine Man" performed by Bob Dylan appears in the film. I and a couple of other editors are working on trying to improve Mr. Tambourine Man and we lack a reliable source reference here: Mr. Tambourine Man#Other covers and references to indicate that the song was used in the movie. I was thinking of trying to just cite the DVD itself. I can look up all the DVD info on Amazon, but if you could confirm if the song is used, that'd be really great. Thanks. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Sundance Project

[edit]

Hey there, wasn't sure if you're still working on the Sundance thing, but I'm in the process of compiling a list of documentaries shown at Sundance over the past decade or so with the assistance of the Wayback Machine. It's part of a research project I'm working on, so I'm not sure that I'll have time to do the actual editing myself, but if you're still keen on the topic I can pass the info I have to you (links, images) to save you the searching.

Cheers, L — Preceding unsigned comment added by Diimmortales (talkcontribs) 10:47, 18 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article North Starr has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable film with no known actors, and with no reliable third party coverage.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Notice

The article Flow: For Love of Water has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not meet WP:GNG and WP:NFILM. Apparently, this film participated in 2008 Sundance festival, but did not receive any awards or reliable coverage. It is not enough to constitute notability.
