Districts

[edit]

Hi, Alex! Thanks for starting to work on the districts of Kaluga Oblast. Just wanted to let you know that User:Starzynka and me are actually going through all of the districts of Russia to create starter pages like, for example, this one. We are going through the federal subjects in order and are still only working on Tatarstan, so it'll be a while till we get to Kaluga Oblast, but if you are interested, I'll gladly create a page model for you to use and expand on (here's the model Starzynka was using for Tatarstan). This way, all district articles are going to be neatly and consistently formatted, which will save quite a bit of effort later on. Please let me know if this is something you'd be interested in or could use help with. If not, we'll just press and iron Kaluga Oblast's districts when their turn is up :) Thank you for your contributions all the same. Cheers,—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 14:37, February 16, 2010 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Alexander Burutin, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.russiaprofile.org/resources/whoiswho/alphabet/b/burutin.wbp. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. The article Alexander Bedritsky has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests, and consider using the Article Wizard. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Your first article. You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Pages may not be copies of web pages from http://eng.kremlin.ru  Ronhjones  (Talk) 22:56, 4 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have notified Ronhjones here that we are indeed are allowed to use Kremlin.ru materials freely on WP under the CC3.0 licence. I expect the two articles to be undeleted in due course. --Russavia I'm chanting as we speak 08:16, 5 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Kremlinru template

[edit]

Hi Alexander, if you look at Alexander Burutin, Mikhail Trinoga and Yury Laptev‎, you will see at the bottom I have added {{Kremlinru}}. If you use Kremlin.ru for such articles in future, please add the template to the article, so that others will see that it is clearly not a copyright violation. In regards to Alexander Bedritsky, you will need to redo that article if you so wish. Also, in future, if you can please add to the talk page of Russian-relation articles {{WikiProject Russia}}, so that the Russia project is alerted to such things occurring, and we can stop them before they are a problem or hassle. Cheers, --Russavia I'm chanting as we speak 16:14, 5 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Anatoly Shapiro requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. The article Sergei Ushakov has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

Rettetast (talk) 21:38, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Larisa Brychyova has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This Biography of a Living person does not appear to meet our standards for notability in politicians.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Tim1357 talk 23:36, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re: How many...?

[edit]

Hello: You had left a message at my bot talk page. The bot is currently creating gastropods, has created around 15000 articles. I expect another 5000 more that will need to be created. If the bot gets approved by other marine projects (cepholopods, fishes etc), it can potentially create 200000 articles. Ganeshk (talk) 16:45, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
