[edit]Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, Paul Scholes, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Middlesbrough, you may be blocked from editing. --David Biddulph (talk) 00:03, 24 September 2018 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Middlesbrough. --David Biddulph (talk) 00:05, 24 September 2018 (UTC)
- To make it clear, Middlesbrough is not a city, as you will find if you read the sources (http://webarchive.nationalarchives.gov.uk/20130128133540/http://www.culture.gov.uk/what_we_do/honours/7610.aspx#cities as one example). The rest of the article refers to Middlesbrough as a town, which is correct. It applied for city status some years ago but the application was not successful. --David Biddulph (talk) 00:26, 24 September 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Please read up on the difference between the BrE noun "licence" and the BrE verb "license" which gives us "licensed". Thanks! Best wishes DBaK (talk) 01:14, 24 September 2018 (UTC)

Stop adding a call to an image which no longer exists
[edit]Stop repeatedly adding a call to an image file which no longer exists. --David Biddulph (talk) 11:05, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Nicholas Bond-Owen. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. --David Biddulph (talk) 11:41, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
