Doctor Who series 6 episodes

Please don't shorten the episode summaries that much! Keep them around series 5 and 1. Glimmer721 talk 21:13, 4 March 2012 (UTC)

March 2012

Please provide an edit summary when making edits such as several you made recently to Doctor Who-related articles. Changes such as table colors, etc. need a rationale for the changes made; once a table color is settled on, it's rarely a good idea to arbitrarily change it. Instead, such changes should be discussed first, particularly when editing articles on which a significant number of editors work. Once a change you make is reverted, please refrain from adding it again -- that can be perceived as edit warring. If you feel strongly about an edit, discuss it on the talk page and seek consensus for it. Your enthusiasm is laudable, but should be tempered with a bit of restraint so that you work with other editors rather than against them. --Drmargi (talk) 19:25, 6 March 2012 (UTC)

Producers

My sincere apologies for undoing all you WP:good faith edits regarding the Who series seven producers, I know it's not nice to see that. Although I hadn't noted the producers credited on the episode posters, they're clearly not reliable; Cold War has already broadcast and proved its poster wrong (I just checked on iPlayer), and the BBC's programme information (surely a very reliable source) contradicts the posters for Journey and The Crimson Horror too. The episode page for Journey is live too, and agrees with the programme information and not the poster. I thus considered that we can't rely on The Name of the Doctor's poster in this respect either. I'll note this discrepancy on the project talk page where I have mentioned the changes I have made so all can see and discuss the situation. Please do feel free to comment there. U-Mos (talk) 21:25, 25 April 2013 (UTC)

MOS:ACCESS

I noticed during your recent edits to List of Top Gear episodes that you did not include scope="col" in column headers. Please do so as the tables need to comply with MOS:ACCESS and MOS:DTT. Also, per MOS:CAPS, "challenges" should not start with a capital in "Features and challenges", and the punctuation should not be bolded. Please see these edits, which corrected these errors. --AussieLegend () 14:35, 28 April 2013 (UTC)

Hiya, Thanks for reverting my edit, I was meant to have reverted to the correct date but somehow misread it ... Apologies!,
Again Thanks - much appreciated  :) , →Davey2010→→Talk to me!→ 20:50, 16 May 2013 (UTC)

The Great British Bake Off (Series 4)

Hi, I am curious as to where you get the information that he is from Royston, Hertfordshire. From this article in Royston Crow, it says that he lives in Melbourn in Cambridgeshire (north of Royston), but works in Hertfordshire. Hzh (talk) 13:24, 24 August 2013 (UTC)

I got the information from The Great British Bake Off website; [1], but as I guess that the article states that he live in Melbourn then it should state that compared to the change that I made.

Where do you think we should put down as Beca's home town? Here it says she originally came from Penylan, Cardiff. I suspect she is currently in Aldershot because her Military Wife Choir is based there, but this is just guess work. Hzh (talk) 17:17, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
I think that it should stay as it is as in the programme it stated that she is living in Hampshire with her husband, so i think that would be in Aldershot.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Wheeler Dealers, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page West Midlands. You are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Drwho16. Thank you. Lagrange613 13:30, 30 October 2014 (UTC)

If you weren't sure what this investigation was about (as you said on the report page), put simply, the person was accusing us of being an old member of Wiki who was banned for sock puppetry, going back and forth between accounts to edit, and Lagrange613 thought that we were that same person doing the same action. However, the case was closed due to the accuser being wrong in their judgement of our actions, since we're not related. Hope that helps. AlexTheWhovian (talk) 00:41, 31 October 2014 (UTC)

Jogo de Panelas - Come Dine with Me

The title of the Brazilian edition of the show "Jogo de panelas" is a play on words. As a phrase it means a set of pans (usually saucepans), but "jogo" also means a game - which the show is, with varying degrees of competitiveness in each country's edition. "Cookware's Game" sounds like a machine translation of the phrase and doesn't seem to have a clear meaning or allusion. I'll change the translation to "a set/game of pans" for now - but welcome an alternative translation with clear reasoning behind it. Guffydrawers (talk) 21:53, 12 November 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Category nominated for deletion

I have nominated this category for deletion, because there alrerady is Category:British television programmes, to which most all British TV show are already a member )usually by way of sub-category). Please do not add any more pages to it. -- [[User:Edokter]] {{talk}} 18:51, 9 April 2016 (UTC)

I would like to invite you to contribute to a discussion on whether or not "The Girl Who Died" and "The Woman Who Lived" and "Heaven Sent" and "Hell Bent" are two-parters. Over the course of 3 weeks and 2 discussions, few editors have contributed, so it would be a great help if you could take the time to contribute. Fan4Life (talk) 17:17, 5 June 2016 (UTC)
