[edit]Hi and welcome to Wikipedia. I reverted your change to the lead section of division by zero, because I think it's a bit too obscure in context. You are right that the existing language is not fully precise, but I don't think it's incorrect per se. We did have a discussion about that sentence on the talk page, where it was decided that concision and accessibility is more helpful here than full precision. The goal here is to make the lead section accessible for someone with a primary school level of math knowledge. The later section is a bit more detailed. –jacobolus (t) 17:09, 19 August 2024 (UTC)
