Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

Here are some links to pages you may find useful:

You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:

Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a certain number of days and made a certain number of edits.

If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (71.91.178.54) is used to identify you instead.

I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).

Happy editing! SmokeyJoe (talk) 05:55, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Abelmoschus Esculentus. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Peer-to-peer file sharing, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~ Abelmoschus Esculentus (talk to me) 03:34, 16 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Peer-to-peer file sharing. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. ~ Abelmoschus Esculentus (talk to me) 03:39, 16 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Since you're not logged in I can't ping you, but I left you a message at Talk:Tranny. Bradv 22:15, 27 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In response to your query about new "issues of wikipedia policy"; no, your main reason for requesting the move, that dictionaries order the definitions differently, directly contradicts policy - wikipedia is not a dictionary, and doesn't care about dictionaries in determining what the title is. There is encyclopediacally much more to write and more importance of Tranny as a derogatory term than the other meanings, and it satisfies the criteria of being primary topic Galobtter (pingó mió) 04:42, 29 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed you removed information about your IP address with this edit. The best way to hide this information is to create an account, which you are most welcome to do. Bradv 02:57, 15 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 month for sockpuppetry (same person as User:USN007.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Floquenbeam (talk) 19:01, 24 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

IP address is a NAT with a restrictive firewall having six different clients on the same network per the same IP address. There are a total of three different users with six different devices that use the same IP address. It is inappropriate to allege "sockpuppetry" without verifying that the IP address is not a NAT. See Wikipedia Policy as to the Presumption of Good Faith. THe block was therefore Abusive and inappropriate. 71.91.178.54 (talk) 09:33, 28 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

This is irrelevant. Yamla (talk) 10:59, 28 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this IP address or network has been used to disrupt Wikipedia. It has been blocked from editing to prevent further abuse.
If you are not the intended target of this block, please read the information below in order to receive assistance.
Wikipedia tries to be open, but we sometimes must block IP addresses to prevent editing by abusers, vandals, or block evaders. These blocks can affect users who have done nothing wrong. If you are a legitimate user, follow the instructions below to edit despite the block. Users who are the intended target of a range block may still appeal the block.

IP users (without an account): If you do not have an account and wish to bypass this block, an account can be created to allow you to edit. In general, these blocks only prevent users who are not logged in from editing; once you are logged in, the block will no longer affect you in any way. To request an account, simply click here and follow the directions provided on the page. It is important that you use an e-mail address issued to you by your ISP, school, or organisation, so we may verify that you are a legitimate user. When filling out the account request form, please refer to this block in the "comments" input field. If you've been instructed to request an account via email, please refer to this block in your message.

Registered users (with an account): Please make sure you are logged in to your account. If you are unable to edit while logged in, you may request IP block exemption to bypass blocks unconnected with you that affect your editing. Post an unblock request to your user talk page.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
