"IF TRAIN CANNOT HAVE A HATNOTE THAT AN ACRONYM REDIRECTS TO AN ARTICLE, THAN NEITHER THAN THIS"
[edit]Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but your recent edits, such as those to Car, appear to be intentional disruptions designed to illustrate a point. Edits designed for the deliberate purpose of drawing opposition, including making edits you do not agree with or enforcing a rule in a generally unpopular way, are highly disruptive and can lead to a block or ban. If you feel that a policy is problematic, the policy's talk page is the proper place to raise your concerns. If you simply disagree with someone's actions in an article, discuss it on the article talk page or, if direct discussion fails, through dispute resolution. If consensus strongly disagrees with you even after you have made proper efforts, then respect the consensus, rather than trying to sway it with disruptive tactics. Thank you. Belbury (talk) 09:27, 17 June 2023 (UTC)
- See @Aitraintheeditorandgamer, the thing is, with the Car article, you’ve made a disruptive edit for no reason. With the Train article, there already is a hatnote that leads to Train (disambiguation) which has a link to The Redstone Acceleration & Innovation Network. There is no need to disambiguate something twice, or give priority to one particular acronym/abbreviation/initialism over others (also note, there are other abbreviations that include some variation of the letters in “TRAIN”, not just the one you keep adding). Please stop. Fork99 (talk) 10:27, 17 June 2023 (UTC)
- And rather than making sarcastic edit summaries, I would advise you to talk things out on the affected article(s)’s talk page(s). Wikipedia’s policy of WP:CONSENSUS must be upheld, and you are at risk of being in an edit war and/or breaking the three revert rule which can lead to blocks. Fork99 (talk) 10:31, 17 June 2023 (UTC)
Undiscussed page moves
[edit]Hi, I see that you have renamed the articles GWR 5700 Class, GWR 850 Class, GER Classes S46, D56 and H88, GWR 2021 Class and GWR 5400 Class so that the word "Class" is lowercased to "class". This goes against a long-standing naming convention; I can't find where consensus for such changes was agreed, nor even any relevant recent discussion. Accordingly, I shall soon revert the moves.
Please don't move any more; instead, I suggest that you start a generic discussion at WT:UKRAIL. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 19:39, 26 June 2023 (UTC)
2-8-8-8-2
[edit]I changed 2-8-8-8-2 to a redirect because you've produced no claim of notability. We need significant coverage in multiple independent reliable sources. I recommend you develop this content elsewhere until it is ready. Chris Troutman (talk) 01:13, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
- Same is true for 2-10-10-10-10-10-2. Chris Troutman (talk) 02:15, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2-8-8-8-2 until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.

May 2024
[edit]Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia, and articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to List of Roblox games. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, please use your sandbox instead, where you are given a certain degree of freedom in what you write. Brachy08 (Talk) 01:49, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
- How are these joke edits? I wasn't making any jokes. Aitraintheeditorandgamer (talk) 03:19, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
- can you explain the camel case thing? Brachy08 (Talk) 03:27, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
- nevermind. false alarm. sorry for the inconvenience Brachy08 (Talk) 03:29, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
- however, the hidden message thing is completely unnecessary, which may have made me mistake it for a joke edit. Brachy08 (Talk) 03:30, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
- also, best to leave it as it is, to reduce ambiguity. Brachy08 (Talk) 03:31, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
