I am an Italian librarian who works at the University of Salerno; I have been contributing to Wikimedia projects since 2015 and have over 103443 edits done: I never received any compensation from anyone for writing a Wikipedia article and I never will. My apologies. I checked your edit count shows well under 100 edits - on the English Wikipedia. Hidden in the lower right corner is that pesky "All projects 106,596". Life House

I think it will take a fair amount of work to bring it to wp:Manual of Style standards. I added it to {{Hotel chains}} and that to the external links section, linked Hospitality industry, rephrased the lead, moved the image to the infobox. Maybe look at some other hotel chains to see how they are written?

Editing on the English Wikipedia

I think that you will find that the English Wikipedia is a bit more concerned with citing sources, puffery, jargon and buzzwords, etc. I removed your edits to Comcast Ventures and Silicon Valley were unsourced. Cheers Adakiko (talk) 21:12, 13 May 2022 (UTC)

Nomination of Life House for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Life House is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Life House until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.

@Adakiko can you help me? So Condé Nast Traveler, Fortune, Vogue, Travel + Leisure, Architectural Digest are not reliable and quality sources in the world of travel? I have eliminated everything that could have been intended as an advertisement; the article certainly needs to be improved, but the cancellation seems to me really excessive!Cheers--Alessandra Boccone (talk) 08:34, 6 June 2022 (UTC)

I believe that many of those are vanity press where people pay to have an article published. RS they are not. If Life House is only briefly mentioned, that would not add to the subject's notability. I'm not an expert in these matters. You might ask at the wp:Teahouse; someone might be able to make recommendations there. The AfD listing is probably not a good place to ask. AfD conversations are more toward the question of notability, not asking why it isn't. You should find and add sources that which make the article meet wp:Notability (organizations and companies) go to the AfD and make your case that it is notable. You might want to make a copy of Life House in case it is deleted and you later find better sources. Hope this helps. Cheers Adakiko (talk) 08:46, 6 June 2022 (UTC)

That is quite a list! Do you have the page number and/or links? I "collapsed" the list on talk:Life House as it was rather long. You can add {{cot|heading title}} at the top and {{cob}} at the bottom.

Here is the Fortune link. It appears to be November 7, 2021. It is probably best to sort them in order of how well they support notability. People probably won't want to find the source themselves. I don't know how important a link would be. Cheers
