translation request
[edit]As flattered as I am by your request, I don't actually have an account on the Russian Wikipedia (although I have considered setting one up), so maybe the most I could do would be to translate it in userspace here and let someone on ruwiki do the upload. Have you considered putting in a request over at the Russia project talk page? Many editors there speak better Russian than I do and actively edit the Russian Wikipedia. Help wanted from Italian speaker
[edit]Hi Alessandro. I am randomly messaging a few users listed at [[Category:User_it-N]] in the hope of getting input into a disagreement on the OR noticeboard regarding the use of an Italian language source. The basic question is whether a particular source can or cannot be used to support particular article content. Users currently involved in the discussion (me included) do not have a high level of proficiency in Italian, so a little help would be appreciated. If you have the time to spare, thanks in advance and the discussion is here: Wikipedia:No_original_research/Noticeboard#Murder_of_Meredith_Kercher.--FormerIP (talk) 23:36, 1 January 2011 (UTC)
- Hi Alessandro. If you don't feel confident with the subject or have an opinion then that's fine, don't worry about it. It's not a translation as such that is required but comparing the source used to the wording proposed for the article and commenting on whether the wording proposed in a proper interpretation of the source. Cheers. --FormerIP (talk) 12:29, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
IMMAGINE&POESIA
[edit]Yes Alessandro, I'm interested in working on this article both in English and Persian Wikipedia. I'm also translating their manifesto into Persian. But back to the article, this article needs a lot of works. Compare this article to Stuckism, another contemporary art movement.
About those two tags on top of the page. "Original research" meanse the text is made from the research of a Wiki user which is nbot reliable.
The second tag says that the article needs more "reliable refrences" like well-known newspapers, and art magazines or official websites. Blogs are usually not reliable sources.
Let me know if I can help. lapsking (talk) 18:28, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
- OK Alessandro, the Persian translation of the manifesto is finished, but still I need to work on it a little bit before it becomes ready to be published on the net, and it takes more time. But about the article on Wikipedia. I removed both of those tags from top of the article but still we need more reliable sources.
- I don't know if you are a member of the movement or have connections with them, but I suggest you that this movement needs an official website rather than just a blog. A blog never can be like a website. For example Stuckism International has it's own website http://www.stuckism.com .
- And about the first refrence in the article: http://www.montecarlonews.it/2011/03/10/notizie/argomenti/eventi-2/articolo/beausoleil-al-via-una-mostra-permanente-del-movimento-immagine-poesia.html . I couldn't find anything written about IMMAGINE&POESIA, my Italian is not very good. Could you please check it and see if that has anything to do with the movement and iI couldn't find there "IMMAGINE&POESIA is an international artistic literary movement". We need a good reliable source for saying that, and please note that IMMAGINE&POESIA blog can't be used for this because it will be self-refenced. lapsking (talk) 19:48, 26 August 2011 (UTC)
Persian Translation of IMAGES&POETRY manifesto
[edit]Hi Alessandro, the Persian translation of the manifesto is finished. Now what should I do? lapsking (talk) 19:08, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks, I sent them. Now let's see what will happen. lapsking (talk) 18:04, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you Alessandro, I live (was born) in Tehran, capital of Iran. Thank you for the links, yes I would like to add Tehran, Iran near the translation. I also sent them a peom (English) and a painting of mine. Yes, I'd like to join the movement, that will be great. Here you can see my paintings: http://www.tehranstuckism.com/indexhdpaen.htm --lapsking (talk) 07:58, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
- I have also one question. Is it Images&Poetry or Image&Poetry. In Italian they write it in singular but in English translation they write it in plural. I asked this for Persian translation, both in manifesto and Wikipedia. Thanks. --lapsking (talk) 08:48, 20 September 2011 (UTC)

IMMAGINE&POESIA on Italian Wikipedia
[edit]Hi Alessandro, I hope you are well. I just noticed there are articles about IMMAGINE&POESIA in many languages of Wikipedia except Italian. I think an action must be done about this. Bests, lapsking (talk) 10:21, 26 September 2011 (UTC)
- So I hope you work on Italain article later. But one more thing Alessandro, I'm affraid we can't use You Tube as a reference on Wikipedia, could you find a better reference for the official song of the movement? So I can add it to Persian Wikipedia too. Thanks. --lapsking (talk) 23:36, 26 September 2011 (UTC)
- I added immaginepoesia.wordpress.com blog as a reference, which is a little better than You Tube. Because everyone can make a video on You Tube claiming their song is the official song for the movement. Hope references become more reliable after the official website is constructed.--lapsking (talk) 08:57, 27 September 2011 (UTC)
Great job
[edit]Now it can be used as a refrence for past and future exhibitions, and a refrence for articles, texts, members and also announcements. I watch it grow, let me know if I could do anything. Ciao = Felan. --lapsking (talk) 13:32, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
