Speedy deletion nomination of User:Anit.neokred/sandbox
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User:Anit.neokred/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Cahk (talk) 08:37, 10 January 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello Anit.neokred. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Anit.neokred. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Anit.neokred|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 331dot (talk) 13:44, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
- Yes. I work for the company that transforms the financial technology services in India and I believe it is very important to mention the impact the company creates in the financial technology sector Anit.neokred (talk) 04:06, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
- Please read the paid editing and conflict of interest guidelines linked above, then. It would be best if you did not write about your company; it is very unlikely you will be able to be neutral about it. Even the way you're talking about it here sounds promotional. - Can you please share the link to access the paid editing and conflict of interest guidelines? Anit.neokred (talk) 05:52, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
- WP:PAID
- WP:COI AntiDionysius (talk) 05:53, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
- You are required by the Terms of Use to formally disclose your status as an employee of the company, as the paid editing policy describes. Wikipedia articles summarize what independent reliable sources say about a topic, not what it wants to say about itself. Put another way, Wikipedia wants to know what others say the impact of your company is, not what it thinks its own impact is. 331dot (talk) 07:05, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you. So, how can I go forward? Anit.neokred (talk) 09:31, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
- Should I provide testimonials for it? Anit.neokred (talk) 09:32, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
- Testimonials from customers would be a primary source which can't be used to establish notability. They would also have a conflict of interest. Wikipedia wants to know what sources completely unconnected with a company say about it.
- The main purpose of a Wikipedia article is to summarize what independent reliable source say about (in this case) a company, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. Articles are typically written by independent editors wholly unconnected with the subject, who take note of coverage of the subject in independent sources and choose to.write about it. A company trying to force the issue doesn't often succeed, because they are too close to their company to set aside everything they know about it and all materials it puts out, and only summarize what others say about it. There are also good reasons to not want an article.
- My advice is that you not proceed with this, but if you want to, you should use the new user tutorial, then after making the declaration required by the paid editing policy gather independent sources with significant coverage of your company; these cannot be press releases, staff interviews, brief mentions, or any other materials from the company. You may then use the Article Wizard to create and submit a draft. I caution you that writing a new article is the most difficult task to perform here, even without a conflict of interest. It's harder with one. 331dot (talk) 11:02, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
- So, only those who unrelated to the company can publish an article right? Also, if I provide sufficient information, features and independent sources about the company, can my article get published? Anit.neokred (talk) 12:22, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
- It is highly discouraged to edit about topics for which an editor has a conflict of interest, though it is not absolutely forbidden. You may create and submit a draft as I indicated in my previous posting. What are the three(and only three, please) best independent reliable sources with significant coverage of your company? These shoukd provide extensive discussion as to what the source sees as significant/important/influential about your company, not what your company sees as important about itself. 331dot (talk) 16:44, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for the update. I want to know how where to upload the draft. Anit.neokred (talk) 04:25, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
- Use the Article Wizard. 331dot (talk) 09:05, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
- If you'd like to offer your three best sources as I indicated, I can tell you if it's worth creating and submiting a draft based on them. 331dot (talk) 09:06, 12 January 2024 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Anit.neokred/sandbox
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User:Anit.neokred/sandbox, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
- It appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free Web hosting service. (See section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
[edit]If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:
- Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
- Provide a new username.
To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.
Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page.
