Hello Annaproject. Thank you for cleaning up the article about Marc Gafni.
You might not be aware, but in general, we don't delete information just because the links in the citations are dead. See WP:LINKROT. There are sometimes ways to recover the old site, such as the Wayback Machine, or means of finding alternative sources.
Overall, however, I think your version of the article is an incredible improvement over what was there before. Thanks again. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 02:49, 13 July 2016 (UTC)
Hey User:Malik Shabazz. Thank you so much for the helpful tip. I really appreciate you taking the time to teach me these things. I won't make the same mistake in the future (don't delete info because of linkrot). And I'm glad that I added value to the article from your perspective. I have a question, and it's not urgent. What should I do when the citations consistently do not support the assertions in the sentence? For example, there is a strong assertion and it appears to have more than one citation (that makes it seem quite credible), yet when I clicked on those citations, they had little to nothing to do with assertion made, and that kept happening in the article. In those cases, which is not linkrot, is it also best to leave the assertion and write "citation needed"? Annaproject (talk) 04:58, 13 July 2016 (UTC)

The article Ant Marshall has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No evidence of the person passing WP:GNG - passing mentions only.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — MarkH21talk 02:53, 21 January 2020 (UTC)
- Hello, in terms of notability, Ant Marshall produced the albums some of the biggest names in hip hop. This is notable. As you can see from my contributions page, I understand what notability is. Although the popular press did not often cover famous rap and hip hop producers, it doesn't mean that they aren't notable. How is it that every single person he produced has a WP page, but the producer does not? Give it time to develop. Allow others to contribute. This was up for one second and you proposed to delete it. Ant Marshall moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Ant Marshall, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. — MarkH21talk 07:13, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
