February 2021

[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Wikipedia:April Fools/April Fools' Day 2021. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges on that page. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges.

As of 2021, edit warring is expressly prohibited on April Fools pages. See WP:AF2020.pythoncoder (talk | contribs) 19:05, 14 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry. Another Wiki User the 2nd (talk) 21:14, 14 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Wikipedia Challenges, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Wikipedia Challenges and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Wikipedia:Wikipedia Challenges during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. VAXIDICAE💉 20:06, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've deleted this nonsense. We do not generate pages like this Another Wiki User the 2nd, please do not do so again. I would, in fact, suggest you focus exclusively on editing the main (Article) namespace from here on in. Nick (talk) 20:14, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Trouted

[edit]

Whack!

You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.

You have been trouted for: aaa 192.141.244.248 (talk) 20:22, 3 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A beer for you!

To celebrate being able to now theoretically create posts on Wikipedia due to figuring out how citations work. Cheers! 1,000,344,820th User (talk) 02:28, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You remember 1,000,344,820th User, right? Well, I'm him, but there's a catch. I lost my password with no way to recover it, so this new account will be a fresh start for me. But for now, I apologize, Another Wiki User the 2nd. 129,743rd user (talk) 03:56, 15 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ANI notice

Trout slap, even whale slap me. It's what I deserve. Another Wiki User the 2nd (talk, contribs) (talk) 18:30, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
A last comment on "trouting" and "whaling", so that you can understand a little bit better what happened leading up to this block - We only trout and whale when a sensible editor makes a one-off silly mistake. If there is a continuous pattern of disruptive edits or conduct that is detrimental to the project you won't get a trout or whale. You will get warnings and then a block, like what happened here.
I really hope you are able to make constructive edits in the future. I also suggest you read WP:YOUNG as well as it has a lot of suggestions for future constructive edits. Aasim - Herrscher of Wikis ❄️ 18:15, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

September 2023

[edit]
Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistently making disruptive edits.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Moneytrees🏝️(Talk) 19:50, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • You claimed to "UNDERSTAND" that further silly/disruptive editing would result in an indefinite block, but then you made completely silly, disruptive edits like this and this. Your post at my talk makes little sense and again suggests you don't actually "understand" what happened at the ANI. If you want to be unblocked, please be clear in what you would do and commit to refraining from goofy edits. Humor is appreciated on Wikipedia, but all you are doing is being silly and wasting other editors time. There are other much less depressing sites to be funny at. Moneytrees🏝️(Talk) 20:01, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Well, you're supposed to HELP me. Another Wiki User the 2nd (talk) 20:03, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock

[edit]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Another Wiki User the 2nd (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Please see the ANI conclusion.

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. 331dot (talk) 20:24, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

My last edits

This is it. These edits will be the last time of the Another Wiki User era. Maximum score on the Wikipediholisim test ignoring variable questions: 2,494.5 Another Wiki User the 2nd (talk) 20:43, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Another Wiki User the 2nd You should not create a second account in order to continue editing. That crosses the line into sockpuppetry as it is a misuse of a clean start. And you accepted your final warning and then you burned that bridge by continuing to disrupt the community with that silliness. One way out I can recommend for you is to read Wikipedia:Standard offer and to appeal after six months. Make constructive edits on other projects, stick to one account, build up trust on, say, Wikimedia Commons or Wikidata, and demonstrate that you are able to participate constructively in this serious encyclopedia project. By the way, I have been blocked before almost six years ago under a near identical reason. If I can get unbanned and stay away from the areas of trouble that got me blocked in the first place for the duration of my final warning, so can you. But right now, as an editor who has walked through where you currently are, I suggest you wait out six months. Aasim - Herrscher of Wikis ❄️ 21:57, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I'll restrict myself to this talk page until the school year ends. Another Wiki User the 2nd (talk) 14:53, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Do you mean "from this talk page"? Because this restriction to only using this talk page for constructive purposes (like discussing or appealing this block) will last as long as you are blocked. In any case, taking a break to reflect on your recent edits does sound like a great idea. I hope you understand this action is done to stop further disruption to the project, not primarily to punish. Block appeal* (DOES NOT APPLY UNTIL 8-20-2024)

[edit]

This block appeal is official has started. (refresh) Edit my block to allow account creation so that I can use 46,140,100th Wikipedian. I will (try to) stay away from the areas of trouble — Preceding unsigned comment added by Another Wiki User the 2nd (talkcontribs) 19:29, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

AWU, I am afraid that what you currently have worded for your "appeal" is almost certainly going to be declined by an administrator, as Wikipedia is not a game, it is a serious encyclopedic project. Being on Wikipedia is a privilege, not a right, and if you cannot give a valid reason under the blocking policy why your block should be removed via a validly formulated unblock request {{unblock|reason=your reason here}}, an administrator might just remove your talk page access after which you will have to appeal to WP:UTRS. It would be a real pain if your talk page access here was revoked. So I actually plead that you go make constructive edits on other projects rather than putting stuff like this on your Wikipedia talk page. Aasim - Herrscher of Wikis ❄️ 17:25, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have decided to attempt a fresh start ass FF25 YT. Another Wiki User the 2nd (talk) 20:39, 29 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You can't fresh start while you are blocked. If you can't demonstrate that you understand why you were blocked in the first place and that you won't repeat the action again, you won't be allowed to edit. And if you continue to play around with alternate accounts and be disruptive while blocked, it will guarantee that you will remain blocked for a very long time, if not forever. I'll leave it at that because you don't have talk page access and it would be counterproductive to continue engaging further. Awesome Aasim 18:37, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I said EDIT my block.

You have been trouted for: Being indeffed due to "disruptive editing" (which I didn't know was disruptive!) and being stupid Another Wiki User the 2nd (talk) 20:38, 29 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed talk page access from your account. If you wish to be unblocked, you can go to WP:UTRS, however I highly suggest that you quite bluntly mature enough first before doing so. RickinBaltimore (talk) 20:40, 29 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
