Request reason:
Hello. I believe I was false blocked by a moderator named Discospinster. After making my first ever wikipedia edit, I was blocked indefinetly. I was given no specific reason for the block, other than that i "clearly was not here to build an encyclopedia". I feel very frustrated and confused about this block and would love an explanation for the reason, and a path to have my posting privileges restored. B00tz911 (talk) 02:31, 12 October 2024 (UTC)

In response to 331dot regarding my denied appeal, since the reply function isn't working: I didn’t expect that adding a light-hearted image to a Wikipedia page would result in an indefinite block, especially one with "no pathway for me to return to editing." I've seen plenty of images here without sources, so if this really was the issue, a warning or lifting the block would have sufficed. Instead, it seems like the moderator who blocked me, and the one who denied my appeal, might be friends, which raises concerns that this is more of a personal block due to disagreements over the articles I edited or bias in protecting certain content on wikipedia, instead of a genuine interest in building an encyclopedia. It frustrates me to see this type of behavior on this site. I received no prior warning. If this appeal isn’t accepted, I’m going to just change my IP address and start posting again under a new account. Ultimately, this appeal serves as feedback to the moderator to help them act more fairly in the future. B00tz911 (talk) 04:09, 13 October 2024 (UTC)
