I am hoping for impartial feedback and advice on this draft about trial attorney Bill Carmody of Susman Godfrey, who has been profiled in the press several times because of the size and prominence of his cases. As a personal connection to Carmody, I have declared a conflict of interest above. Here are profiles of Carmody: [1] [2] [3] [4] In addition to profiles of Carmody, there are other articles, over decades, in which he is prominently featured: [5] [6] [7] Any article behind a paywall, I excerpted on the Talk page. For structure and content, I looked to two Good Articles about trial attorneys: F. Lee Bailey: [8] Carrie Goldberg: [9] I reviewed NPOV, too. Thanks in advance for your input. Notability

[edit]

I didn't review the draft much, and basically just looked at your sources for quick feedback based on numerous deletion debates on biographies and legal topics. At this time, I would hold off until you get more articles truley focused on the attorney from more mainstream sources. Non-attorneys have a hard time understanding the significance of legal focused literature, and in general a lot of deletionists out there have a warped sense of notability and the significance of coverage in media they have not heard of (IMO). You would be facing an uphill battle if someone nominated it for deletion at this time. But good luck. Aboutmovies (talk) 19:19, 13 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
