Asparagus article edit
[edit]Hi Barbthedarb. I noticed you removed a citation request without offering third-party verification. Why? Thanks. CApitol3 17:59, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
Rahim Jaffer
[edit]If you want Rahim Jaffer's article to state that he was criticized for waiting on the results of a recount before conceding, then you have to show a source which states that somebody actually expressed some kind of public criticism. The article you linked to doesn't suggest anything of the sort whatsoever — what it actually says is that waiting for the recount isn't even slightly out of the ordinary in that kind of situation. [edit]An outgoing MP's term in office ends the day the writs are dropped to start the election, not the day the new MPs are sworn in. You're correct that he shouldn't be denoted as a former cabinet minister until the new cabinet is sworn in, but you're incorrect that he should be denoted as an incumbent MP. And no, there's no conflict between those two things. Bearcat (talk) 15:02, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
I'm really sad to see what you've become ... a respected blogger who is now the new mouthpiece for asbestos lawyers. You've gone from hating the corporation to being the corporation. It is really disgusting to see how low you've sunk and you've lost all respect that I once had for you. If you add Maacenter to any more asbestos related articles, I will remove the additions myself. Hi Barbthedarb. I see that you have removed Sydney from the list of Air Canada's destinations in the Toronto Pearson International Airport article. There is a hidden note next to the Sydney listing that states: "Do not remove Sydney as a destination. Air Canada flight 33/34 is a direct service between Toronto and Sydney, with a stop in Vancouver. The same plane and flight number are used for the complete duration of the flight in both directions. Vancouver is also listed in this section as a destination."
I'm assuming that you saw the note when making your edit as you deleted the hidden note as well. You also did not provide an edit summary. If you wish to have Sydney removed, please discuss on the talk page for the article. Thanks JPark99 (talk) 07:11, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Barbthedarb. I removed the clarification that you added in the lead section regarding the Air Canada flights from YYZ to SYD, as the current statement in the lead section does not imply whatsoever that all destinations served from Toronto Pearson are non-stop. There are several destinations operated by several airlines in the destination list that are direct flights, which are non necessarily non-stop. Please see Wikipedia:WikiProject Airports/page content, where is has been outlined that both non-stop and direct flights should be included in an airport article's destination list. In regards to the the Toronto Pearson International Airport article, Air Canada AC33 from YYZ-YVR-SYD and Air Canada AC34 SYD-YVR-YYZ are both direct flights, and therefor are included in the destination list.
